To study in any of the IIT's in India, it is very important to qualify and as well as getting a good score in JEE Advanced. To attempt JEE Advanced, it is mandatory to qualify JEE Mains. After qualifying in JEE Advanced you have to attend the counselling at JOSAA where we can give the preference to your desired college and then we will be selected for that college accordingly.

If you qualify JEE mains exams in the coming April month, then only you progress on further to be eligonle to surname give the jee advanced examinations. And for iits, you need to crack JEE mains for sure and then you also need to again crack the jee advance examinations.
