Hello student,
One thing to keep in mind is that Anna University does not accept admission on the basis of JEE main examination. To procure a seat there, one must apply for the Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling and can choose the colleges and branches according to their choice. Around 150 colleges, affiliated to Anna university participate in this and you can choose from among them. To be eligible for TNEA, there are some criteria like holding nativity and so on which you can see from the official website of Anna University.
