see now the competetion is very high.There is minimal chances of getting into NIT even after scoring above 150 in JEE mains.

If you are in general category,frankly speaking there is no chance of getting NIT Patna.

If you are in reserved category(SC/ST/OBC),there might be a possibility of you getting into NIT Patna but chances are very low.

Now speaking of good colleges,you will definitely get a good college(mostly private colleges).

As ranks and cutoffs are very relative, therefore it is always difficult for anybody to predict them accurately. The cutoff for this year have not been out yet but they are expected to be near around the same range as NIT Patna's cutoff last year because a lot of factors are taken into consideration while deciding upon the minimum qualifying marks.
