Dear Ravi,

3896 is a decent rank. Based on the previous years cutoff for computer science the range of rank for general category was 4420 to 4840. You have not specified your category but the rank you have obtained will fetch you a CSE seat in a good college. Hope this helps in clearing your doubt.
