Hi dear candidate,

Although, 60.6% marks in MHT CET exam would be enough to get admission in a private college but might not be sufficient for a government college as it would require percentage around 75% or even more. Government colleges has less fees demanded than private colleges.

Few private colleges are:

Modern College of Pharmacy, AISSMS College of Pharmacy and Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy Navi Mumbai are considered good.

Hello

You have scored 60.63 percentile in MHT CET (PCB group) and your target course is Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).

Admission Chances Based on College Type:

Government Pharmacy Colleges: Very low chance of admission

Top Private Colleges (such as MIT-WPU, Bharati Vidyapeeth, D.Y. Patil): Unlikely

Mid-tier Private Colleges: Borderline chances

Private Colleges in rural or small cities: Good chances

Suggestions for Admission:

1. Apply through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) counselling conducted by the Maharashtra government.

2. Fill as many college options as possible, including less-known and lower-ranked institutions.

3. Explore institute-level quota where colleges admit students directly if seats remain after CAP.

4. Keep your documents ready, including your scorecard, category certificate (if applicable), domicile, and others.

Backup Options to Consider:

Take admission in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and then enter B.Pharm through lateral entry into the second year.

Go for B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Microbiology, or B.Sc. Chemistry, which can lead to careers in pharma or allied sciences.

Look for private pharmacy colleges in other states that accept lower MHT CET percentiles or Class 12 merit.

Examples of Likely Colleges Accepting Students Around 60 Percentile:

Yashwant Redekar College of Pharmacy, Nesari, Sindhudurg: Suitable for both reserved and general category students.

Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research for Girls, Daund, Pune: Girls-only institution, better chances for female candidates.

Indira College of Pharmacy, Nanded: Accepts students with 60 to 70 percentile, especially under reservation quotas.

Sudhakarrao Naik Institute of Pharmacy, Pusad, Yavatmal: Last year’s cut-off was around 28,000 rank (equivalent to 55 percentile), good for reserved category students.
