Hey Shashwat !

As far as your case is concerned, there are possibly two cases.



1. Either you couldn't cross the cutoff of a particular paper which don't think would be a plausible cause.

2. There might have been a technical glitch in the result.



I would suggest you to send a mail to the concerned authority and ask for a review, although it's really a rare case that you might receive a reply.

But make sure you do send a mail and if possibly you find a phone number, call the office during working hours.
