Hello aspirant,

Every year cutoff changes and it depends on the questions difficulty level,number of participants,seat matrix etc.Honestly speaking, there is a fair chance that you’ll get admission in CUSAT with 8517 rank but you won’t be getting a lot of choices in the branch.

At the same time you might get admission in one of the CUSAT campus because I have seen people with general ranks upto 7k-8k getting admissions.

Hope for the best and choose your course wisely!!!
