For a candidate to be eligible for the counseling through josaa one must have cleared jee majns, the marks of class 12 has to be greater than 75 percent. If you have cleared jee advanced you can get admission into IIT and on the based on jee mains you can get nit ,cfit ,iiit etc.

Those students who qualified JEE Mains and JEE Advanced can sit in JoSSA counselling.

Those who have only cleared JEE Mains are eligible for NIT/IIIT/GFTI's and those who have cleared JEE Advanced are also applicable for IIT's.

To be eligible to sit in JoSSA counselling, you need to secure an overall aggregate of 75% in 12th boards if you are from the GENERAL category and there is a relaxation of 10% i.e. you need to score an overall aggregate of 65% if you are fro a reserved category.

Hope you are doing well. You are not eligible for JEE Advanced counseling through JoSAA, but you are eligible for JEE Mains counseling. As you have cleared your JEE Mains, you can give a try for admissions in NIT's or GFTI's. If you have scored exceptionally well in JEE Mains, then you can get admissions in these colleges as well. Yes Priyanshi, as you had cleared the JEE MAINS paper, and have 85% in 12th Boards exam, you are eligible for Josaa counseling 2019. As it is not necessary to clear JEE Advance to appear for Josaa counseling. To get more information, you can refer the link given below:
