see the eligibility criteria for admission to vit vellore for b.tech course is as follows:

candidates must have completed 12th course in 2021 or earlier are eligible to apply.

applicant must secure minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination. Candidates having compulsory subject of  Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry in +2 / Higher Secondary Board are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes.

Candidates DOB must  falls on or after 1st July 1999 are eligible to apply for UG Engineering admission (UGEA) 2021. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / 10th  Certificate will be considered .

so if you have the age limit and marks criteria satisfied you are eligible to take admission in vit vellore by securing score in viteee/ jee main/ sat exam.,

see if you are an engineering aspirant, try to take admission in this year , you have already 2 years gap , so if it increases it may cause difficulty at placement.

There is no issue if you passed your 10+2 in 2019 . You still can get admission in VIT Vellore. Candidates for admission are selected based on VITEEE marks. Students applying with JEE Main , SAT exam and other various exams are also eligible to apply. The university will shortlist candidates for admission based on cutoff marks set by them.

However , I will suggest to try to get good rank in the VITEEE exam as then only you will get Vellore campus with your preferred branch . Or else you might end up getting other campuses of this college.

Yes you can get admission in B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore provided you have written VITEEE or JEE Mains or SAT entrance exams.

You must pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board. Gap in education is two years so it is better to try joining this year and try to get good score in Entrance Exam so that you can get Computer Science Engineering branch in VIT Vellore Campus if not you might get in other Campuses if your rank goes down.
