i don't think there would be much effects of your gap years on your studies especially after getting selected in wbjee  .it would also not going to create any problems in your placements .but be careful about your documents .most of colleges ask for updated documents so please checkout the documents recquirement of your chosen college and prepare your documents carefully

During placements the companies will set an eligibility criteria to shortlist candidates to participate in the campus drive. Not every company will put bar on gap in education. The minimum permissible gap in education is usually 1-3 years depending on the company and few companies does not even out bar on gap in education. So this is not a major problem and this will not effect your and your opportunities to participate in the campus placement provided you must have decent academic performance and skills required. As long as these things are taken care of you will not face any problem. You may face a question at the time of interview about the reason for gap in education, please be prepare to answer such question, be honest and give genuine reason for the gap in education.
