Hi.
Unfortunately your score doesn't lie in a safe zone to get you a seat in CSE in a very good college. It might just hang around the cutoff.
On the other hand, mechanical from VIT is a good choice. If you feel you are interested in CSE more then you can simply apply for a program migration after a year, for which you need to perform really well in your first two semesters.
