With 55 marks your percentile maybe around 73.28- 80.98 which results in a rank in the range 246089 - 175204 and with general category it might not be possible for you to get into NIT Srinagar unless you have state quota of JK or LA. However, these are past year trends they are not 100% correct but they do give a generalised idea for this year's trends.

it is quite difficult to take admission in NIT srinagar.
