I didn't get hold of the syllabus but the admission for MSc chemistry is to be merit list based this year meaning the marks of all the semesters will be considered.

60 objective type questions MCQs carrying 1 (one) mark each and the duration of the test will be 90 minutes.

The syllabus for chemistry for sitting in the entrance exam to pursue postgraduate courses in Barathiyar University includes a vast array of topics like electrochemistry, photochemistry, colloids, nanoscience, nanotechnology, Bio chemiluminescence, spectroscopy, Harmonic oscillations, Radiation chemistry, awareness of environment issues related to chemistry, water treatment, fuels, polymers, pollution, organic compounds, inorganic chemistry.

Try to revise whatever you have studied for your graduation degree.
