Maharaja Agrasen institute of Technology will conduct B.Tech admission this year on the basis of Jee Main paper 1 marks. The university will not conduct its own CET for admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit or rank obtained in the JEE. The basic criteria says that the candidate must has passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 55% marks in PCM. The candidate has to pass each subjects separately along with English as one of the subjects in intermediate. And 95 percentile in Jee Main means your expected rank would be around 43,450. If the candidates in September session increases your rank would also increase. Moreover, the cutoffs depend on your category and quota. For Home State quota candidates the cutoffs are quite low. With this rank you can expect CSE/IT if you are from general category. You can get your desired branch. But if you will apply through Other State quota, you can expect ECE, Mechanical, EEE. Nope it doesn't but you should have an aggregate of 55% in PCM for becoming eligible for admission rest it doesn't matter what overall percentage you have.
