Hey Rohit,
With a marks of 55, your rank would be around 7000 according to last year's marks vs rank. Also, to your second question, I would like to inform you that IIEST Shibpur doesn't take admission on the basis of WBJEE rank. Instead, it takes admission on the basis of JEE Main rank through the JoSAA counselling. So, you must decide accordingly.

Well, undoubtedly Jadavpur University is the top college of West Bengal in terms of placements. Other Colleges are Kalyani Government Engineering College, Institute of Engineering and Management, etc.
