Hi, DU offers various M.Sc courses. The admission process takes place in 2 ways:

  • DIRECT ADMISSION: 50% of the seats are filled by the students of DU and the admission is done on the basis of merit. This facility is not available to students of other universities.
  • ENTRANCE BASED ADMISSION: the rest 50% of the seats are filled by students from other universities through entrance exam, and further group discussions and Personal interviews.

If you wish to get your b.sc degree from lajpat rai college and then seek admission in DU for masters so you will have to give an entrance exam  for the course. Your final year marks are only for deciding your eligibility to appear for the exam. Generally the eligibility cut off for entrance exam for M.sc courses ranges between 50%-60%.

Hope this information helped. Good Luck
