I see that you want to join CSE IIIT Kota or ECE nit Patna. So for joining the course you need to be below the rank .

So you need to make a choice if I see the closing rank for previous year for general category and hs it was around 25000 rank.

So if you have better rank than this then you can go for ECE. 

I also suggest you to take ECE in nit Patna
