See, this type of question totally depends on what you have to do in future. If you want to go for let's say an MBA or something which is not concerned by engineering, then you should join NIT Warangal as it is a big brand name to be proud of. However, if you want to strictly live in the Computer Science field, then I'll suggest you to go for IIIT Kota as IIITs in general do a good job in training you for that.
So, decide and then choose.

Hello,
Last year a candidate with rank 11724 belonging to OBC-NCL category secured admission to Electronics and Communication Engineering in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan. This was the cut off in JoSAA round 6 counselling. Considering the cut off you need to secure a rank around 11000 (OBC-NCL) to have decent chances of getting seat. It is quite difficult to predict the exact percentile to get admission in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan in the preferred course. If you secure 95-97 percentile in JEE Main then you may have decent chances to get seat in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan in the preferred course. To secure such percentile you need to score minimum 130-190 marks in JEE Main. But this is an estimated score the actual percentile and rank may vary after the result.
Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the previous year cut off use the link below

Hello aspirant,
Of course at any time, students always prefer to join in the NITs, if they have to choose between IIIT and NIT. If you get the opportunity of CSE branch in Kurukshetra just grab it, no need to think. The same syllabus and curriculum is present at both of the colleges. Coming to Fee particulars, in IIIT Kota, it is around INR 1.25, whereas in NIT Kurukshetra it is INR 56k.
The average salary package in NIT Kurukshetra is around INR 8 lakh per annum. In IIIT Kota is around 5 Lakh per annum. It all depends upon your skills and interests.
Hope this helps you,
Good luck, Thank you :)
First of all decide which branch you are comfortable with is it ece that interests you more or civil by doing this you will get first hint towards your answer now going by institution nit jalandhar being an established and old institute has its own advantages like good alumni network broad company base for placements and better competition among students on the other hand iiit kota ece is newly established and is improving day by day with good packages and high placement percentage so choose by yourself which one you want to choose in my opinion if you are comfortable with core branches then nit jalandhar civil will be good option
Hello,
As you have mentioned a quite good number of IIIT and NIT colleges so it is clear that you have made your mind set for the national level colleges ie, NIT and IIIT but from all the above colleges you can go for NIT Agartala because it is comparatively older than other IIIT and NIT mentioned and has a great academic records and also the cutoffs are quite high for this particular college hence, you can accordingly think and start preparing for the exams through which you are looking for this colleges.

any way joining in iiit for studying b tech is very honourable 1.iiit guwahati 2.iiit trichy 3.iiit bhubaneswar 4.iiit sricity 5.iiit kota as we know that iiit guwahati is well known as one of the best iiit in india and iiit trichy gets the faculty from nit trichy the top most nit in india and iiit bhubaneswar incresing their packages by batches wise now a days the faculty and college is very well so you got the answer
IIITs are much better than VIT. VIT is an average Institute with good students having average and sometimes below par faculties(exception are everywhere). IIITs have far better faculties and facilities than VIT. VIT has good infrastructure but not enough for students studying there as its student intake is very high
Many new IIITs lack their own campus and thus fail to provide students with many things, which are essential for their student life. But I can definitely assure you that IIIT, is way better than VIT. Not only it is an institute of national inportance, but also has its own campus and is thriving there. With great faculty and many extra cuurricular activities in form of clubs and competitions, IIITG has become a role model for the ew IIITs.
As we shifted to a new college , we are currently in kotak and here the cinstruction is still going on but the work is going according to the plan ,it will take almost a year to complete the construction so we can see good infrastructure . And the classrooms are well designed, and they provide good internet.
Till now our college don't have its own campus we live in the campus of malaviya national institute of technology,Jaipurwhich is amazong and have everything required stuffs.we are not restricted to use any campus facility.
Infrastructure of IIIT kota is under progress.Currently we stay in MNIT college.Labs in every department are of good quality and with all the equipments.Condition of hostel for 1st and 2nd year is good as we are provided with the new hostel.
