The engineering physics in IIT Bombay is very good branch. It has good scope. Almost all of the students who enrolled for the placement are placed with good salary minimum approximately of 8 LPA. Some students got higher package too. Most students choose to go   for non core companies.

You can pursue further research or get your PhD by cracking exams like jrf or gate exams. Also government institutions like DRDO also have openings in research for engineering physics graduates.

Companies like Microsoft, TATA or Accenture also come for placements in IIT Bombay under engineering physics.

Average salary is around 11 lpa.
