Hi Aspirant

A lot of students face this kind of dilemma during JOSAA counseling. The most important thing to be kept in mind is going for a branch that interests you more.

You should try to find out as much information as you can about these branches from people associated with these particular fields.

As far as colleges go IIT Roorkee would be better, but the branch plays a more significant role.

Hope this helps and All the Best.

Hi Candidate,

Both IIT Roorkee and IIT Tirupati are top colleges. But I would suggest you to prefer IIT Tirupati in Electrical engineering course. IIT Tirupati has got great reviews of its infrastructure and faculty. As you are going with Electrical engineering the placement record of students who belong to that course has been very good with many MNC's offering good packages. All the best. Hope you take the right decision
