Yes you can appear JAM for biological sciences or biotechnology. There is no such criteria that of you should have chemistry as a graduation subjcet.But the questions from chemistry physics and mathematics are asked in biotechnology paper and mathematics in biological sciences paper which are mostly basics from 10+2 level.You can find more details about it on official site of JAM

Sorry charles, IIT Madras do not offer this course.Only institutes offering msc biotech are iit bombay ,iit indore,iit roorkee.
