The cutoff for courses like CSE or IT is usually below 5000 but for courses like Electrical and Electronics (EE), Aeronautical (AE) ,Electronics and Instrumentation (EI) ,Automobile (AU) ,Mechanical (ME) and  Mechatronics (MT) the cutoff rank or the closing rank is above 10000.
