Is Anna university other state admission a part of TNEA?? If yes,will ranking be done in same way for both TN students and others??

Candidates are selected in the BE/BTech programme on the basis of TNEA counselling (https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/tnea-exam-counselling) whereas candidates are selected in the BArch course on the basis of NATA (https://www.shiksha.com/architecture-planning/nata-exam-results) score

Entrance exams considered for various courses are:

  • BE/ BTech/ B Arch courses: Admissions are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA)
  • MBA/ MCA/ ME/ MTech / M Arch /M Plan: Admissions are done on the basis of Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)
  • BArch (vacant/lapsed seats): Admission to vacant/lapsed seats of BArch degree programme which fall under the Management and Government Quota is done on the basis of TANATA - (Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test In Architecture)
