If you are planning on joining IIST after your 12th for their Undergraduation programme, then yes you need to appear and qualify in JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is the entrance examination for admission to their 4 year B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, 4 year Avionics Engineering and a 5 year Dual Degree programme.
