Hello,

Material Science is a specialization where people from different backgrounds like Mechanical, Electronics, Chemical, Physics play an important role. There are many researches going on in the field of Material Science. It is a course that makes the students learn the behaviour of materials, their development and production. There are many job opportunities like Research Associate, Materials Project Specialist, Design Engineer, Professor etc. So doing M.Tech in Material Science after B.Tech in ECE is a very good option as this field has a very good scope in the future.

Hope this helps you.
