Hello,

If you're asking for JNU, Delhi then Eligibility for MSc Life Science as well as MSc Biotechnology is passed B.Sc. degree or equivalent in any branch of basic or applied science under 10+2+3 pattern of education or B.E./B.Tech/MBBS with at least 55% marks. There isn't any mention of having maths at 10+2/graduation level.

Maths is important in any domain you choose from science and commerce streams. Maths is necessary at every place as every concept is proved and measured in some experimental way. Not every things goes by thoery as no one will accept it if it is not true.

Maths is used at every place. Do take the advice and learn maths sincerely and seriously that you won't face any problem in future.
