Is Mechanical branch in BITS Hyderabad is comparable with any of the IITs in respect of placements and identity?

Hello Ravi,
In India iit have the best and high tech equipments on their departments including mechanical branch.  The professors are highly qualified including PhD holders. The government fund is more compared to bits since bits is a private institution. The mechanical branch in top and mid tier IIT has high placements and high packages. Also having the iit tag helps in getting job.
