The syllabus is almost the same in all types of universities.

The difference between deemed universities and other universities is that deemed universities are autonomous. They can make their own teaching schedules, decide their own fees, create their own examination timetables etc. They are not controlled by the government or any other authority, whereas all government colleges follow rules and regulations laid down by the government. The degree you receive upon graduation carries the same weight no matter which type of university you graduate from.
