In case you are interested to join Army after 12th then NDA is one of the major exam to get into army and airforce career.

Apart from this, there is TES entrance exam and AFCAT entrance.

For all entries other than NDA and CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT. The test is conducted twice a year in February and August Applications for AFCAT are out in June and December. The test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force.



Mainly its through NDA you are being shortlisted.
