It depends on the university and the state. In most states, a Common Entrance Test (CET) is required if you want a seat in a Government, Aided, or respected Private college.

• In Maharashtra, MAH B.Ed CET is mandatory for almost all colleges in the state.

• In Uttar Pradesh, UP B.Ed JEE is required for state-affiliated colleges.

• In Delhi, admission to Delhi University and IP University is strictly through CUET PG or IPU CET .

• In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, AP EdCET and TS EdCET are compulsory for state quota seats.
