Dear Rohini, you need a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology ar 10+2 level to be eligible for NEET. 50% is for General Category. It is 45% for PWD and 40% for SC/ST/OBC. The importance of 10+2 marks for NEET ends right there. The rest depends on how well you score in NEET. The cut off is only for determining NEET eligibility and not for securing a Medical seat.

Admission in MBBS course would be done through NEET only. Though your marks in class 12th boards will be considered for eligibility. You need to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB when you did your 12th boards to be eligible for admission through NEET.

Here is a list of all governmentmedical colleges in Tamil nadu and their cut off ranks and marks respectively for the general category under the state quota. You'd be required to score in a similar range to get a seat in Tamil nadu through NEET.
