To secure admission to KEM's B.Sc. Nursing program, you must meet certain academic and entrance exam criteria. In 12th grade, you should aim for at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with English as a compulsory subject . However, higher marks (around 60-70%) can improve your chances.

For BSc Nursing, one needs to go through the admission process in KEM Hospital, or for the King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. To get admission, a candidate should fulfill the academic as well as the entrance examination requirement.

• 12th Standard Marks: A student must have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as his core subjects. The marks required differ, but on an average, a candidate needs to have at least 50% marks in PCB. For the reserved category students, this percentage is somewhat relaxed (between 40-45%).
• CET (Common Entrance Test) Marks: All nursing courses in Maharashtra comes through the common entrance test, Maharashtra CET, or MHT-CET. You need to score well in the PCB section of this examination. The exact cutoff varies every year, but 120+ out of 200 can boost your chances to be on the selection list. It will be a bit less for the reserved categories.

Since KEM is a premier institution, high marks will give you a better opportunity to get admitted. Thus, try to do well both in your XII board exams and in the CET in order to have maximum chances of getting admissions.
