You haven't mentioned which examination you are talking about but my guess is that it is JEE Mains that you are concerned with. Every year, the opening and closing rank for different colleges vary based on a number of factors. And since this year, the competition is a bit dwindling due to the covid situation, hence it is somewhat difficult to predict whether you will get into which college.
