The admission to B.Tech 2018 at Sastra University will be on the basis of two streams in which stream 1 will be based on JEE Main 2018 score and qualifying exam scores for 70% seats and stream 2 will be based on the qualifying exam for 30% seats. With 973 marks in our board I think you will definitely get a seat under stream 2

There are chances of getting a seat in sastra. They will give there maximum priority to the IPE marks and not to the other compitative exam scores.But as per my knowledge and to the information of some of my friends the cutoff marks for sastra will vary from year to year. And 978+ marks mean we can give 98% chance of getting a seat in sastra.

you just speak and take suggestons and information from your seniors and the friends or relatives who are pursuing there graduation there so that you will get an idea.

just don't focus only on that since you are telling that you qualified in jee mains so take chance and  write advance or try for nit's or iit's so that you may get a better college than this
