see in mba course of fms delhi, in 1st year syllabus there is no specialization, students need to learn the basic of all the modules like Human Resources, Organisational Effectiveness & Change, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Quantitative Methods, Computer Applications in Management , in second year you need to choose your subject of specialization in which you want to do your major, since your brother is from economics background he should go for finance as a specialization, finance has many topics and curriculum related with economics and mathematics related with data science.
