Based on your category rank, under All India seat you might NOT be able to get into majority of NIT or IIITs under Other State quota. However, you may have a good chance in Home State quota depending on the state. Hello, your rank is not so good so chances looks less to get a top college but if wait till last round of Csab counseling may be you would get some new Nit like Sikkim,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram and if you have home state quota in any of these colleges then chances will be higher but I would recommend you to apply for Csab counseling may be chances can be possible in Gfti like Gurukul Kangri Haridwar,Assam University , Sant Longowal Punjab.

Hello Aspirant, hope you are doing good.

So, according to your JEE Mains CRL rank, your chances of getting into NIT, GFTI is almost nil, because the cutoffs in these colleges are really tight, being the best colleges in the country after IITs, and there is a lot of competition as well, so with your rank, you dont have any chances. Even in the category rank, your chances are less , because competition is  very high in categories as well. You can still try for the CSAB round, because you never know if you are lucky enough, you can get a seat with your rank.
