You can check out the cutoff of the college for number of years here, according you will see that your rank is a bit too much to get admitted to any b tech degree, however you can try for other specialization subjects like physics,etc.

Hi,
Ggsipu had conducted there own entrance exam called ipucet exam till last year but now it started to take admission on the basis of jee mains exam rank from this year. Since this system is going to start from this year onwards so it is little difficult to tell about its cutoff. But on seeing your jee mains rank it is clear that you will not be able to get a good government college because your rank is not good enough to get admission in a good college. But you can try for other private colleges under IPU.
