Usually there are 8-10 counsellings each year for admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh. But again that would depend on the number of vacancies that would arise. A few people might leave their seats after the first counselling. Also, this year the seats have been increased too. There are 90 seats for general category for BA LLB and 90 for BCOM LLb. The cut off will fall lower in the subsequent counselling. But considering that your rank is 283, it's a little farfetched. Your chances seem less for UILS. You might have chances in the last counsellings but even then the chances seem less and you can't be too sure for a seat then. But there is nothing bad in trying too.
