my score in b.teck (EEE) is 82.5 % I attempted gate in 2017 but got only 7000 rank. any chance of joining IIT or Bits this year?

Hello there. With that rank, you'll not make it to the IITs or BITS this year.

BITS doesnt take through GATE. For that you need to attempt BITS HD. As for IITs pls check this article for all cutoff details as branch, gate paper, M.Tech specialization and IIT matter.
