Dear Vivek as per the general category you rank is a little bit low because of mostly branch of West Bengal college under 12000 or 14000 but your rank is 170000 so very hard to get college easily but as per previous year cut off might be you can get Ramkrishna Mahato engineering college civil branch.

you have good rank and you can get CSE or IT course for Btech also if and only if you have reservation like SC or ST else not.  the CSE or IT Cutoff is below 2K and your rank is around 10K.You can apply for :-

•     Jadavpur University for Electroonics Instrumentation

•     Maulana Abdul  Kalam Azad University

•     Heritage Institute of technology

•     Haldia Institute of technology

you can apply for core branches and can get an admission for sure. If you are interested in any other college then you can go for it also.
