methods, technical skills to perform analysis and system or process development in Marine Industry
You will be able to demonstrate high efficiency while carrying out the Engineering
watch at sea and maintaining systems or processes.
You will be able to direct, supervise, and make important decisions regarding the design and engineering of problems on deck.
Marine engineers are mostly at sea for 6 months if they are in active line of duty. You will be traveling a lot if you are in the Indian navy. There are also opportunities for off-shore work if going to sea is not your passion.
Thiss course is good and if you are able to get the profiles of Port manager, Second marine engineer, Ship manager, Ship operator, Marine surveyor, Chief marine and Technical superintendent then your salary will range between 5-15 lakh per annum according to your experience
