The CET must surely re-evaluate the resulrs. I have heard that once scored 98 marks and got 48 percentile and other student who scored 102 got 92 percentile. This is surely unfair.

It is ruining students future.

This is the problem of the pcmb and pcm .

Percentile is given as no of students beginf you/ total no of students

So students who gave pcmb had lower total no of students . As a result the denominator in that eqn being less for them they got greater percentile than students giving pcm since for whom the denominator (total no of students) is much more.

They should have normalised the results.

I hope it helps
