You haven't mentioned which class board you are preparing for and also the board name is not mentioned. So, I will tell you in general the preparation tips for English exam. First of all, go through your syllabus. Make yourself aware of all the topics and afterwards start preparing from basic. You need not jump to the difficult portion. Make a study plan. Invest your time on English portion daily without fail. Make a realistic plan. As you haven't given complete information regarding your exam, know the pattern of your exam and practice a lot. Practice chapter wise questions from different books and online as well. But, first get to know the gist of the chapter and read and understand it and then simultaneously practice questions. Practice the sample papers as well.
