You need to score the minimum cut off rank that is specified to get admission in a college. For admission in to DTU and NSUT the All India Rank (or Common Rank List) is considered within the category. The cut off rank is different for each branch and college so it is not possible to indicate a unique safe score. However, we can predict the range of marks which you should aim to score to get seat in the preferred Institutes. Analysing the previous year cut off trend you need to score minimum 120 -180 marks  marks to have decent chances of getting seat in  DTU or NSUT. Cut off changes every year depending on the number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
