Hi Aspirant,
Your general rank is not that good. There is hardly any chance, almost no, of you getting into a government engineering college.
You did not mention your category rank. the closing rank for many of the good government colleges for SC category has gone beyond 5000 in previous years. You might get branches chemical civil or electrical in some colleges.
Don't take part in WBJEE counselling and list your preferences. You would surely get the best college with your choice of branch.
