Yes,You should join definitely at anna University.
As College of engineering if is among top 30 Engineering Colleges in India

• If you are getting seat there then don't wait just take admission there.
• But ,if you think that you can study well after dropping and have enough confidence on yourself then you drop.
• Placements of anna University is also very excellent companies visit there with high packages.
• Faculty and infrastructure is also awesome.
• Its better to study CSE then studying Pcm after dropping.

Ask your parents to advice you as they need to pay coaching fees again if your dropping.
My suggestion is to join College because you are getting a good College and don't waste your time by dropping an year
You can also save 1 year and can also do postgraduation from IITs if you do it after Btech, you need to qualify gate exam for that.
