Should i takee mechanical engineering at NIT Silchar??

Hi,

Yes, I would completely suggest you go for Mechanical Engineering in NIT Silchar if you don't think that any up gradation is possible. The Placement records are great with companies like Brahmos, TATA, Cummins, and Maruti visiting for Campus Placements.  The basic environment of NITS is also quoted as " great" by its Alumni. Although it is said that the percentage for placement is around 60-70% but then you can surely get a placement if you work hard on your studies. 

And last but not the least the faculties of NITS are also very hardworking and provide great help to students who ask for it.
