Most institutes across the country have English as their medium of instruction, students from different parts of the country as well as lecturers communicate with each other by using English. It is vital that you learn the language, because it may hurt your chances of getting a job later on. Try practicing a bit and communicate more using English so that you can improve your hold on the language.

If you get IIT in your own region,then it will be very easier for you.

But if you get IIT outside your state,then there will be some difficiulties.

but sakthi always remember never let the language be the barier to your career.

In IIT, Students come from different regions and very few are there who will talk so much fluently in English.

so  even if you can express your thought in English in slow speed then after you will  survive.

and you will take maximum of 6 months to learn how to talk in english.

I think you want to ask that it is sufficient to survive in IIT with only Tamil .

Than i would like to tell you that ; you can survive but it will be very difficult for you.

But once you expand time there you automatically understand all the things and English also.

And it is necessary to understand the English language because it is the working language and you need it in every aspect of life.

So don't take it as a burden ; even you don't know the english  language you will learn in college because there are many friends and teachers .
