Infrastructure: The college offers a great infrastructure with wonderful dormitories and equipped labs with great faculty. The college has a Wi-Fi enabled hostel with 24hr water and electricity availability having an environment ensuring a great hostel life. Mess is in the main block, food here is decent and quite edible. Pure vegetarian options are available.

The college has a highly skilled and qualified faculty. The course is very much relevant, but I think it is time for new branches to be added. We have open book tests which are quite interesting. Around 78-85% students pass the semester exams. Talking about the course, it is good for entry level, however, I doubt if it makes you industry ready.

Around 49% students get internships, which is pretty decent number considering our branch. Average stipend of 40k per month was offered and the highest offer was that of Rs 1.3 Lans per month. Top recruiters were Tata, Amazon, Deloitte and dooole. The jobs heve are high profile and promising.

Wonderful events and fest are conducted by the college. Salsa 2024 is the biggest event of the year. Scholarships are offered considering the financial conditions of candidates, same as other lITs.

The library is one of a kind, with all the necessary atmosphere to study well. The newly constructed hostels are very modern and the classrooms are very good too. It has AC, ergonomic chairs, hi speed wifi, study rooms etc.

Academics is good. And most professors show interest in teaching and clearing doubts if you show interest. They provide relevant study materials and books if you ask for studying. The focus on other fields like humanities and mba for engineering students is also good.

Placement in the IT sector is very good. But for core areas a lot of companies don’t come. So if your interest lies there you will have to do further research. Professors may help you in pursuing higher studies, but companies for core is limited.

For the fees: the mess, hostel, facilities are excellent. I had to pay about 11 lakhs for 4 years including mess hostel and tuition. Food is manageable although you may want to order out on some days. There’s something called ISM discount where any restaurant in Dhanbad gives 10% discount for you, and that saves a ton pf money.

This is the best PART. ISM culture is one of a kind experience and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. The senior junior bonding, relationship with club mates and classmates grows beautifully in ISM because of the way it’s culture is maintained. You can only understand this once you join college. PS dont think of it as ragging, it is just an “interaction”

The infrastructure of the campus is decent, with new academic buildings and old hostels. The labs are equipped with the latest equipment, and all amenities are available. There are books available in the library for all the semesters. In laboratories and classrooms, there are smart board facilities, and Wi-Fi is available with a speed of 30–40 Mbps.

Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very nice. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant. Not many difficult semester exams are there. You can score a 7–7.5 average CGPA just by studying one day before the exam. There is no passing percentage criteria; it is just relatively marked.

Last year due to recession only 45% students were placed. The highest package was around 50 LPA and the lowest was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Tata Steel, etc. Internship scenario is not good. Top role offered is HR. Internship scene is not good here but everything is fine.

Overall the college is so good and the environment, academics , infrastructure, clubs, and the professor's teaching are also good. First year Hostel is not so good but the food in the mesh is so good and I like it.

The best placements for mining related courses is from IIT ISM Dhanbad. The quality of placements is very good. Almost 80 to 85 students got placed in the last year. The average placements was of Rs 17 lakhs per annum.

The college infrastructure is overall good. There are separate building for each department. The only drawback is the colour of the infrastructure which gives an old vibe. There i s also a separate building for NVCTI.

Mostly noone pays attention in class and you have to self study or from youtube to clear your midsems and endsems. Mostly youtube lectures will be your saviours. Although you sgould try to pay attention in class so that you don't have a burden while exams.

Placement scenario is good and domestic packages are quite well though there are almost no international packages.Placemt is good for circuital branches. Also surprisngly Petroleum branch has quite a good placement scenario

In terms of infrastructure IIT Dhanbad have all the necessary facilities and equipment in our institution.we have library, laboratory and sport centre. Projector classrooms, laboratories with all equipment etc. All the campus, classroom are well maintained neat and clean. Hygiene and clean canteen and hostels.

Academic study is very good in IIT Dhanbad. All the professors attend classes regularly and classes for all the subjects are held regularly on daily basis. All the faculty members of the college are very supportive and encouraging .They always guide the students in career development .

Since it's an IIT its fees is somewhat less from other private colleges. The course is affordable and I think I'm getting all the necessary knowledge .It is worth in all aspects of academics and non academics provided by the college.

The campus is of around 750 acres and full of lush green campus, the beauty and calmness of the campus makes you forget about your academic pressure.
