Being a 3rd generation IIT, the institute campus lacks many of the basic facilities and mostly students end up in queues for most of the facilities. Many of the things are yet in a very primitive manner and the buildings lack modern architecture. On a good note, the current director has planned the improvement of the infrastructure and things are thankfully changing under his era. Still the construction dusts are a huge problem for the campus residents.

The institute has qualified faculties and they mostly deliver the modules nicely. The academic curriculum is fine but the relative grading shall be removed from the system. The institute has to still work on developing the research in the core branches.

Core placements are below expectations and have declined in recent years. While a few companies recruit, opportunities are limited and competiotion is intense. Students should focus on building strong skills.

Not really. The quality of the facilities being offered is not that comparatively good amongst the fee structure. The fee structure is bit high and that much good facilities are yet to be offered. :-(

Overall my research under my guide and the department was great enough. Though limited but i enjoyed a few of the sports facilities and was mostly involved in spirituality throughout the campus besides research.

Infrastructure is awesome. Classrooms are air conditioned. Screens are installed in the classes for proper learning experience. Cleanliness is maintained in the entire campus. Every department has there own building.

Teachers are highly experienced and the learning experience is good. Faculties always teach with real life experiences. Classes are interactive and teachers are happy to answer any question or doubts.

Placements are good. Many companies visit the campus and most of the students get hired for different roles. I am not sure about the highest CTC offered. I have attended the executive MBA program, so placement facility was not provided.

I don't find it much valuable. I am little concerned about the value addition it has done to my profile. Most importantly, the extra curricular activities, course fees, fests, and the infrastructure facilities. All these combined together makes it a good deal.

The college infrastructure and all the equipment, along with all the facilities, are impressive in our college. There are Wi-Fi and Smart boards in the classrooms along with in the sports facilities and also in the hostel rooms.

I have completed my PhD from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. The departmental facility, along with the central research facility, is impressive, and the necessary equipment is provided for the research.

The placements for BTech students are outstanding, while for MTech and PhD, there is still a lack in the placement options. Most of the BTech people got placed in multinational companies. Moreover, there are various departments which has very impressive record on placement.

The coursework fee is a little high but worth spending.

My college campus is clean and full of greenery. There are lots of sports facilities, various entertaiment clubs are there for smoother campus life.

Excellent infrastructure, Very good arrangement of all the labs, Nice ambience of the all the classrooms and labs, AC installed wherever required, Proper ventilation in all the classrooms and big halls

Nice faculty members, they all the experienced one, Very good style to teach the subject, Easily understandable from them, Good connect with the industry representative that gives us exposure while interacting with them

Placement is good for B.Tech guys, For M.Tech and Ph.D. is not up to the mark, More companies are coming for IT branches , More core companies need to visit the college campus for placement for students from the core branches

Yes, Fees is decided by the dedicated govt council, No Hidden charges, They provide good facility against the fees what we have paid them, online portal for deposition for the fees, easy to access the same

Good campus life, everything is situated inside the campus, campus is near to the important places, railway stations and hospital, campus is situated on the main road, auto, cabs are easily available to go anywhere.

It's a very good college . Coming to its infrastructure it has a very good infrastructure . Good transportation services , health services , emergency services . Has a good internet facility . Overall good.

It is one of the excellent academic colleges in India . It has a very good faculty. It has number of experienced faculty and best professors in India. Has a library which has most of the important books.

It has good accommodation for students. It is safe inside of the campus. It can handle emergency situations as it has health center . Students can engage in a lots of games and sports inside the campus

This is a Government institute having state of the art facility for research. Labs are well equipped. There is a separate Central Research Facility. There are innovation centres. The hostels, guest houses and cafes are great.

Professors are good. Most of them have good labs and network and rich research experience. Courses are well designed. Students have no pressure to attend the classes. Papers are shown quickly after exams. Student teacher ratio is good.

Placements are a bit different for PhD students in science. Many prefer post docs and go abroad while some try for industry jobs which are always not readily available for PhD students. PhDs are mostly preferred for research jobs which are quite less in India's private industry context.

The research stipend is good for JRF and SRF. You get good hostels and food. Cost of studying and living is reasonable considering today's expenses.

Campus Life is great with many extra curriculars to participate in. Several programs are held throughout the year. There are gyms and other sports facilities.

There are several innovation centres focusing on different emerging fields as well as the institute has Central Research Facilities. There are incubation centres also to nurture start-up culture. The institute hosts the largest library in Asia. Hostels are spacious and food is decent.

There are several disciplines now with excellent faculties and infrastructure. Around 60-70% of the faculties are really good in teaching. The curriculum for Masters students in science subjects might need some revision to make it more industry friendly. The placement opportunities and internship opportunities are really good with so many innovation and experience centres developed for better exposure and connectivity.

Placements are not much of an issue for the engineering disciplines. Almost 100% students are placed with some really good companies visiting the campus. Placements in science and humanities depend on the intention of the students really because most want to complete PhD before joining academics or industry.

This is a Government institute and hence fees are normal with a lot of scholarships available to apply for. Other expenses are also reasonable.
