Mostly noone pays attention in class and you have to self study or from youtube to clear your midsems and endsems. Mostly youtube lectures will be your saviours. Although you sgould try to pay attention in class so that you don't have a burden while exams.

Most of the good companies that recruit in India, they recruit from here. So, rest assured about the placements as you'll get ample opportunities in both the colleges, Now the ball is in your court as you can chose the field which excites you the most.

I would personally recommend you to go to IIT BHU as Banaras is a good city as compared to Dhanbad, so you'll be able to enjoy and explore more here.

which is better electrical engineering at ism dhanbad or iit bhubaneswar

Hello,
IIT Dhanbad is definitely better than IIT Bhubaneswar. As far as the overall placement of B. Tech in Electrical engineering is considered, the overall placement percentage is almost 75% for the academic session 2020-21. The highest package offered was 43 LPA CTC given by most of the non- core companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Sprinkler etc.

Merit Scholarships

For UG
